Positioning and saving the program window

The Window menu controls where the program window sits on screen and lets you save a layout you like. Open it from Window in the top menu bar.

• Position to the left — snaps the window to the left half of the screen at full height. Handy when you want the program beside another window.
• Position to the right — snaps the window to the right half of the screen at full height.
• Save window position — remembers the window's current position and size, so the program reopens with the same layout the next time you start it.
• Reset to default position — returns the window to its default size, centred on screen (800 × 620), and clears any saved position so it opens with the default layout next time.

Tip — Pair Position to the left and Position to the right to work with the program side by side with another application, such as your notes or a browser.
