Deactivation of automatic fault removal

By clicking on Options, as you can see in figure 1, you can disable or re-enable the automatic removal of faults (DTCs) from the solutions to be processed.

This procedure is useful for identifying the cause of problems where the car enters limp home mode or the malfunction warning light comes on, even when no faults are detected during diagnostics or the P0000 code appears.

 

Proceed as follows:

 

  1. Uncheck Process fault removal.
  2. Load, edit, and save the file with the applied solutions.When saved, the file name will include FAULTS_ON to indicate that all faults remain active.
  3. Write the file to the vehicle.
  4. Delete all existing faults using diagnostics.
  5. Test the vehicle until the condition that causes limp home or the malfunction warning light comes on is reproduced.
  6. Check the stored fault code using diagnostics.
